Welcome to Aylesbeare Parish Council

 

Aylesbeare is a Village and civil parish in the East Devon district of Devon, England, eight miles (13 km) east of Exeter. According to the 2011 census it had a population of 583. Known for the Site of Special Scientific Interest on Aylesbeare Common that is managed by the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds.

Aylesbeare is on the northern side of the East Devon Pebbled Heathlands. Locally known as Woodbury Common, the heathlands are made up of 8 parish commons, including Aylesbeare Common.

The next Parish Council meeting will be held on Wednesday 3 September 2025 in the Village Hall (EX5 2BS).  Come and have your say at 7:15 on any matters on the agenda. and anyone can watch the proceedings.  You are free to leave whenever you wish.
